Welcome to the OPEN FL community's Student Open Access Resources (SOAR) Repository! A statewide, internet-based, searchable database of Open Education Resources (OER) curated by the students, librarians, faculty, and staff from the Florida College System (FCS) and State University System (SUS) institutions. Research into OER shows that students benefit financially and in their learning experience from OER adoption in higher education courses. Faculty, staff, administrators, and institutions can use OER to provide 365 day access to required readings, align student learning objectives, save students money, promote equity in learning, and explore innovative pedagogy. This site reflects the efforts of the FCS and SUS to provide faculty and students an easy to search database of OER to assist them in their educational endeavors.
